Intersegmental Traction

Intersegmental Traction (IST) is particularly beneficial for patients that have a tight back or restricted spinal movement. During treatment, the patient lies comfortably on their back while the spine is massaged by a series of rollers and cams within the table. This movement creates more flexibility in the spinal joints and increases blood flow. IST is also used to "warm-up" the spine to prepare for an adjustment.

Interferential Electro-Therapy

Interferential Electro-Therapy uses tiny electrical impulses to stimulate the tissues in order to secrete endorphins and other natural pain killers. This treatment is most often used to relieve pain and reduce swelling. This treatment is described to have the "pins and needles" feel to the area being treated and can help to reduce atrophy and increase blood flow.
